At Ratton School we are very proud of the fine range of high quality extra-curricular opportunities we are able to offer our students. Parents are amazed by the range of opportunities we offer and our students often find it difficult to decide what not to do!
We have received the “International Schools Award” in recognition of the scale of travel opportunities we offer our students. These include Japan and Uganda as well as regular trips and exchanges to France, Germany, and Italy.
As a large and successful school we are able to offer a very extensive variety of sporting activities, ranging between Football and Rugby, and Roller Hockey and Sailing. Teams and individuals from Ratton consistently do well in competitions.
As a specialist school for the Performing Arts we offer extra-curricular opportunities in Drama, Dance, and Music which have gained us a national reputation. Students can join practice groups, perform in concerts, and get involved in amateur dramatics via the Rattonians.
We also offer an array of other exciting opportunities intended to support and extend our students' academic achievements. These include the “Eastbourne University”: Revision Classes, Cookery Club, Archaeology Society, Latin Classes, The Library Club, Art Classes, and Aim to Excel for our gifted and talented students.
